Useful tips before buying curtain rod:
The curtain rod must be 40cm larger than the width of the door or window.
More specifically, if our door is 1.20m wide, we will buy curtain rods 1.60m long. (the edges of the curtain rod are extra, the measurement concerns only the rod). As for the distance from the top of the window to the ceiling, the curtain rod should be placed at 2/3 of this distance.
